Classic Mariska for Regatta and Charter
Details
Mariska is a wooden gaff cutter, designed by William Fife and launched in 1908.
She is one of the twenty “15 Meter” class yachts built to the International Rule between 1907 and 1919. She is the second to ever be built and the oldest of the four remaining, the other yachts being Tuiga, Hispania and The Lady Anne.
Her racing career in the 15M Class lasted from 1908 to 1939.
Mariska is one of the most famous classic yachts in existence, in addition to her prizes she has had some exceptional owners, Stothert, Krüger, Dalman, Matthiassen to name but a few, or major figures like Olle Grafström, jazz musician and visual artist who lived on board for many years.
100 years after three triumphant seasons (1908, 1909 and 1910) and having competed in 137 regattas, she remained in Sweden for 73 years. Mariska was later relocated to France where she has undergone a major restoration and remained there for another 10 years before moving to her current home in Slovenia where she has been tirelessly maintained in perfect racing condition since 2020.
Mariska is now back in the racing circuit and available for charter.
In addition to regatta charter we are pleased to offer an opportunity to create your own exclusive and very unique event onboard this timeless classic yacht.

Mariska offers private sailing charters. A Regatta, Day Sails or Sunset Sails are available for this upcoming season 2023 from Slovenia to Spain, passing by Italy, south of france and Monaco.

Charters:
From Slovenia in the magnificent bay of Piran to Spain, the Baleares passing by South of France, Monaco and Italy, Mariska welcomes you onboard to compete on regattas among the finest yachts in the world, or to leisurely afternoon sails and anchoring off secluded island/bays.
Join us with up to 12 guests for a regatta, a day sail or sunset sail. Experience the adrenaline of racing on board for a regatta, or treat yourself with a glass of wine along a relaxed sailing journey.
The captain and his crew of this wonderful classic yacht are delighted to share this experience with you.

Fancy a Race Join Mariska and her professional crew of sailors on one of the most prestigious events for classic sailing yachts. The classics regattas where you will be able to enjoy the view of many other classic yachts and feel the adrenaline of the competition. In the evenings you will be able to enjoy the
magical atmosphere of all the sailors jumping back in time in the universe of classic beauties.

The package includes a core crew which will be happy to teach a group of experienced sailors how to handle a classic yacht of her kind. For less experienced sailors, we are happy to provide you with a full
professional race crew.
Before the regatta we will organize a training where you get familiarized with the boat.
What is included: complementary drinks and snacks, light lunch as we will be in full action for the regatta.
Schedule: Tailored according to each regatta.

Day Sail:
Enjoy a day sail according to our location during the season - check our availabilities and calendar to see which best location suits you and enjoy a swim on the most beautiful bays of the Mediterranean.
Schedule: From 10:00 - 16:00 can be tailored according to the guests wishes.
What is included: complementary drinks and snacks, light bites in between the sailing and swimming activities.
Sunset Sail:
Enjoy a beautiful sunset cruise with light bites and sundowners watching the sun disappearing behind the horizon and if lucky you will be able to watch the moonrise in the following hour.
Schedule: From 17:00 - 21:00 can be tailored according to the guests wishes.
What is included: complementary drinks and snacks, light bites, as an appetizer. All special food & drinks requirement, like a dinner onboard, will be added as extra expenses.
Day Sail + Sunset: Combine the pleasure of both of day sail and sunset sail.
Schedule: From 11:30 until sunset. can be tailored according to the guests wishes.
What is included: complementary drinks and snacks, light lunch and light bites for the sunset. All special food & drinks requirement will be added as extra expenses.
Corporate and Special Events:
On the water, detached from daily concerns and obligations, this lush
micro-environment of freedom and luxury allows families, friends, weddings, rehearsal and corporate groups, as a team building a special time of respite and renewal.
Photo shoots & product launches Classic lines combined with bronze and teak accents provides a timeless and iconic background. Mariska and her crew deliver the perfect package for photo shoots, film projects, and product launches.
Weekend cruises: On special requests, you will be able to sail for the day, set at anchor enjoy a delightful dinner and sleep onboard of this timeless classic yacht.
Schedule: To be tailored according to the guests wishes.
What is included: complementary drinks and snacks, light lunch and light bites for the sunset followed by a sublime dinner. On the following day a light breakfast. All special food & drinks requirement will be added as extra
expenses.
Note: Limited to two couples.

The captain will determine if a charter shall be cancelled due to unpleasant and unsafe weather.
Guests have the option to reschedule or be refunded entirely.
What should I bring: You are welcome to bring anything you’d like for provisions.
Note that Mariska on request offers a service of catering.
Keep in mind that the sun can be strong, so is advised to bring all necessary to be protected from the sun. Also comfortable sport shoes are mandatory on board.

Strict Cancellation Policy:
Free cancellations up to 30 days before the start date of the reservation.
50% refund for cancellations between 14-30 days before the start date of the reservation.
Cancellations within 14 days of the reservation start date are non-refundable.
In case of extenuating circumstances, you may be entitled to a 100% refund.
