The Yacht:

The Onas is a classic sailboat designed in 1978 by the legendary German Frers, considered, even today, the best sailboat designer in the world. It is a unique sailboat, as it was designed exclusively for a demanding owner, well known in the environment of ocean racing and built in aluminum, the safest, strongest and lightest material for shipbuilding without saving anything in its equipment. He lived the golden age of IOR sailboats in which some of the fastest and safest sailboats with luxurious interiors were produced and accumulated a significant record on both sides of the Atlantic.

The Onas is a true thoroughbred, fast and comfortable in navigation. It is equipped with the most modern navigation and security equipment. Its maintenance is carried out according to the most demanding standards and meets all the requirements of the British RYA and the Spanish Merchant Navy for professional nautical activity. It allows us to enjoy the rudder, have fun in the regattas and cross the oceans safely as it is designed, built and equipped to sail any sea with good or bad weather.

We do thousands of miles every year, we like to sail safely and feel on board at home. When in 2003 we decided to change our beloved sailboat for a bigger one we were looking for an aluminum boat, cheerful in the fans, brave in the storms, good belt, fast, safe, comfortable, nice, Ufff! .. many requirements…
After 15 years we can say that the Onas has more than met our demands. With him we enjoy sailing, we have crossed the Atlantic Ocean many times, sailed the Mediterranean from end to end and it has become our home for at least 6 months a year.
